Troubleshooting

# Are reminders sent for events created in Google Calendar?

Updated October 26, 2026 1 min read

Yes, as long as the Google event includes the client’s phone number or email. A Google event only brings its title and time, and CitaFlow doesn’t look up the client by the event name: without that detail the appointment is still created and blocks the slot, but no notice goes out.

## What the event needs

Write the client’s phone number or email in any of these places:

- in the event **description**,

- in the **title**,

- or by inviting the client to the event.

CitaFlow saves it on the appointment and schedules the reminder like any other.

## Which events come in

Only those from calendars connected in **Settings → Integrations → Calendars** with the Google → CitaFlow direction or both ways.

## If the appointment already came in without details

Open the appointment on the agenda, add the client’s phone number or email and save: when you save, the reminder is scheduled.
