Setup

# How do I mark that a customer did not show up for an appointment?

Updated October 26, 2026 1 min read

Open the appointment and click “No-show”. The button only appears once the appointment has started and is confirmed or pending.

## Where the button is

- In the appointment details, from any view in “My Business” → “Appointments”.

- In “List View” on a computer, on the appointment card itself. On a phone, tap the card to open the details.

## What happens when you mark it

- The appointment changes to the “No show” status.

- One no-show is added to the “No-shows” counter on the client record (“Clients” → “View details”).

- Pending reminders for that appointment are cancelled.

- CitaFlow does not send the client any notification. The client only gets a message if you have created an automation with the “No-show” trigger in “Chatbot” → “Marketing” → “Automations”.

## If you made a mistake

Open the same appointment and click “Did attend”. The no-show is removed from the counter.

You don’t need to mark appointments the client did attend: a past appointment with no incident counts as completed.
