Troubleshooting

# Why do I see an SSL error after connecting my domain?

Updated October 26, 2026 1 min read

Most likely your domain isn’t active yet. CitaFlow handles the SSL certificate on its own, with nothing for you to buy or install, and it’s in place once the domain turns “Active”.

## What to check

In **Website → Domain**, look at your domain’s status:

- **Pending** or **Verifying**: add the DNS records shown on the card at your domain provider, exactly as they appear (use each field’s copy button). Then press “Check now” or wait: it’s checked automatically every few seconds.

- **Failed**: the specific reason appears below.

- **Active**: your website is now served on that domain with its certificate.

DNS changes aren’t instant: even with the records right, they can take time to propagate.

## Domain with or without www

Connecting the domain with www in front is recommended. For the version without www, set up a redirect to the www version at your provider.

If the domain is already “Active” and the warning remains, contact support with the domain and a screenshot of the error.
