How do I share Telegram notifications with several people in my business?

Link a Telegram group instead of your personal chat: alerts go to the group and all its members see them.

Steps

  1. Create a Telegram group with the people who should get the alerts and add the bot @CitaFlow_bot.
  2. In CitaFlow, go to “My Business” → “Notifications” → “Business Notifications”.
  3. If you already had Telegram linked, click “Unlink”.
  4. Click “Link Telegram”. Don’t use the dialog buttons that open Telegram (“Open Telegram” or “Open Telegram Web”), because they link your personal chat: copy the code and leave the dialog open.
  5. In the group, send /start followed by a space and the code.
  6. The bot confirms the link in the group, the panel detects it and Telegram appointment alerts are turned on.

Keep in mind

  • Only one Telegram chat can be linked: when you link the group, your personal chat stops getting alerts.
  • Unlinking also turns off “Chat Telegram Notifications”, and linking the group doesn’t turn it back on. If you want the chatbot alerts to reach the group (the cards that need your attention, which any member can answer from Telegram), turn it on and click “Save Changes”.
  • If you closed the dialog before the panel detected the link, check that the Telegram switch is on and click “Save Changes”.
  • You choose which appointment alerts arrive on the same screen, under “Email and Telegram alerts about:”.
  • If the bot replies that the code has expired, click “Link Telegram” again.
