Google Review QR Code Generator

Paste your review link, pick a template and download a print-ready QR code for a counter sign, card or sticker.

Where do I find my link?
  1. Open your Google Business Profile (search for your business on Google or Google Maps while signed in to the account that manages it).
  2. Look for the “Ask for reviews” button (sometimes it sits under “Read reviews” or in the options menu).
  3. Copy the link Google shows you and paste it above. It usually looks like https://g.page/r/…/review.

Alternatively, if you know your business’s Place ID (a code that starts with “ChIJ”), paste it as is and we will build the review link for you. Google offers a Place ID finder in its Maps developer documentation.

The link never leaves your browser: the QR code is generated on this page.

Where to put your review QR code

  • At the counter or register: that is where customers wait while they pay. An A6 sign at eye level gets seen without searching for it.
  • On the mirror, the shop window or in the waiting area: a square sticker makes use of the minutes when customers already have their phone in hand.
  • On the receipt or invoice: the 85×55 mm card fits next to the receipt and goes home with the customer.
  • On the next-appointment card: returning customers are usually happy ones, so it is a good moment to remind them their opinion helps.

When to ask for the review

The best moment is right after the service or within the next few hours, while the experience is fresh. Ask in person (“your feedback would really help us”) and point to the QR code; if the customer is in a hurry, a short message the same day with the link works better than one a week later. Use the message generator above to get the text for WhatsApp, SMS, email or the printed card.

What not to do

  • Do not offer anything in return: no discounts, raffles or gifts. Google forbids it even if the review is honest.
  • Do not filter customers: asking only the ones you think are happy (or asking first “would you give us 5 stars?”) also breaks their rules.
  • Do not write reviews for your customers or ask relatives or staff to post them.
  • Reply to all of them: thank people for good reviews and answer criticism calmly. Whoever reads your reviews also reads your replies.

Ask for the review automatically after every appointment

With CitaFlow you turn on the chat’s “Ask for a review” automation, which sends it over WhatsApp or Telegram when the appointment ends, and you show your Google rating on your business’s booking website.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get my Google review link?

▼

Open your Google Business Profile with the account that manages the business and look for the “Ask for reviews” button. Google shows you a short link (usually like g.page/r/…/review) that you can copy and paste into the generator. If you know your Place ID, that works too: we build the link for you.

Does the QR code expire?

▼

No. The QR code contains your Google link directly, with no redirects or subscriptions in between. As long as Google keeps that link active, the code keeps working. If you ever move to a different listing, just generate a new one.

Is it free, and do I need an account?

▼

It is free and needs no account. The QR code is generated in your browser: your link is not sent to any server. Only the optional AI message block connects to our server to write the texts.

How big should the QR code be to scan reliably?

▼

As a practical guide, keep the code at least 2 to 3 cm (about 1 inch) wide for close-up scanning, and larger if people will scan it from a distance, such as a wall sign. Every template uses the highest error correction level (H), which copes better with wear, glare and low-quality prints. Always print at 100% scale.

Can I offer a discount in exchange for a review?

▼

No. Google’s policies forbid offering discounts, gifts or any incentive in exchange for reviews, and also asking only happy customers. If they detect it, they can remove reviews or restrict your listing. Ask everyone the same way and always thank them for the visit.

Which format should I choose: sign, card or sticker?

▼

The A6 sign works on a counter or table; the 85×55 mm card goes with the receipt or next to the next-appointment card; the square sticker suits a mirror, a shop window or the register. You can print one per sheet or several per page to cut out.

Can I ask for the review automatically after every appointment?

▼

Yes, with CitaFlow. You can turn on the chat’s “Ask for a review” automation, which sends the message over WhatsApp or Telegram after the appointment, and show your Google rating on your business’s booking website.
