How can I manage and sell products if CitaFlow does not include advanced inventory?

1 min read

If your business sells products as well as services, the recommended option for catalog, inventory, and online sales is to integrate Shopify with your CitaFlow website.

When this integration makes sense

It is a good fit if you need to:

  • Display products on your website
  • Sell them online
  • Track stock
  • Manage catalog, pricing, and inventory in a specialized tool

How it works

The goal is not to replace your CitaFlow booking site, but to extend it:

  1. Create your catalog in Shopify.
  2. Connect Shopify to CitaFlow.
  3. Your CitaFlow site shows a store section or tab.
  4. Customers can browse and purchase products there.

Shopify handles features like these very well:

  • Inventory management
  • Product catalog management
  • Ecommerce checkout
  • Variants, stock, and retail operations

For many businesses, it makes more sense to use a specialized tool for this rather than forcing a booking system to handle full ecommerce.

What if I do not need online sales, only sales tracking?

In that case, you may not need Shopify yet. If you only want to record simple in-store product sales and basic tracking, a lighter option such as Quick Checkout may be enough.

What to consider before choosing

Choose Shopify if you want:

  • an online storefront
  • more complete inventory control
  • customers to be able to buy products

Choose a simpler setup inside CitaFlow if you only want:

  • to record in-store sales
  • to separate product sales from services
  • basic operational tracking

In short: for full inventory and online selling, Shopify is the recommended route. For a small amount of in-store retail without ecommerce, you may not need such a broad integration at the beginning.
